On foot, by bike or by car. Ypres city can be done perfectly on foot, the main sights are within walking distance of each other in the compact historic center.
The Cloth Halls, Menin Gate, St. Martin's Cathedral and the cozy cafes and restaurants.
By bicycle; several marked bicycle routes available, peace route -Ieperboogroute etc....(bicycle rental available in the center)
By car; the car is ideal to visit more remote WWI sites but not to worry, also by car you can reach the center.
