La G'Art

La G'Art is a unique vacation home in a former train station, located in Vlamertinge, near Ypres. The station opened on March 20, 1854, and is situated on Railroad Line 69 (Kortrijk-Poperinge). Jan Hoet’s grandfather was once the stationmaster there, and the station served as the closest supply point for the British near the front.

With great respect, the historic building was renovated into a pleasant vacation home for 14 people, offering all modern comforts and luxuries within the original setting of this unique property.

La G’Art is more than just a vacation home: it’s not only a place to stay but also an experience. It’s a meeting place where people and art come together. You’ll find works by (local) artists, each with a story to tell. The art isn’t merely decoration—it’s a living part of the house.
