Warm welcome in Ypres
Our vacation home, located in the heart of Ypres, can accommodate up to 6 people. It is a mansion full of character with a warm nod to the city's rich history. Just 300 meters from the Menin Gate and the Grand Place, you will enjoy a prime location where authenticity meets comfort.
Delightful stay, fully equipped
The three bedrooms and the bathroom were recently completely renovated. There are two toilets and a spacious, fresh bathroom. Downstairs you will find a cozy living room, a large lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. At the back, there is a cozy city courtyard: ideal for relaxing after a day at Ypres.
Bicycle storage and garage included
The house is the perfect base to discover Ypres and the beautiful region around it, on foot, by bike or by car. During your stay you can use the private garage and bicycle storage for free.
Course, Cat and Poppy
Each room has a unique painted accent wall that subtly refers to the history and soul of Ypres. The rooms "Koers," "Kat" and "Klaproos" were artistically designed by Ypres resident Diederik Vandenbilcke. The house also features works by Adhémar Vandroemme, a former local artist and close friend of the family.
The story behind the house
This mansion carries with it a family story. Xavier grew up here. His father, Hugo Dewulf, was a well-known Ypres guide as well as a teacher at the college on St. Jacobs Street. His mother, Josianne Parmentier, was a lace maker; her fine, homemade Ypres lacework gives the house a warm, personal touch.
