This program starts at the Yper Museum. What did Ypres look like long before 1914? You will pick up the thread through the history of the Westhoek. And undoubtedly with a smile! Eleven centuries of Ypres are presented in a refreshing and attractive way.

Amusing animated films and a giant model catapult you literally back to the noisy medieval metropolis that Ypres once was. A real 3D experience! Katelyne and her cat Leon, the virtual guides on duty, will take you along for the ride. They guide you through Ypres as a cloth city, fortified city, bishop's city, military city, destroyed city and reconstruction city.

The group does not need a bus for this program.
