Where can you park in Ypres?

Ypres is divided into several parking zones.
As a visitor to the city, you have a choice of the following options:

Free parking at the peripheral car parks

  • within walking distance of the center
  • Free parking as long as you wish
  • More than 1000 available spaces
  • Parking with a disabled permit is free.
    Anytime, anywhere (except shop-and-go spaces).
    View reserved spaces.

Pay parking - longer than 3 hours

  • First two hours of parking is free
  • Take a ticket on site or activate via text/app

  • Maximum one time per day
  • Valid between 9am and 6pm (not on Sundays and public holidays)
  • 0.50 euro per hour - maximum 2 euro per day
  • See the zones on the map. (pink zones)
  • Parking Ypres Center - 1.5 euros per hour

Paying parking - max. 3 hours

  • The longer you park, the more expensive
    (up to 2 EUR / hour)
  • (yellow zone in the center)

Blue zone - max. 2 hours

  • Place the blue parking disc behind the windshield
  • Max. 2 hours parking in the same place.
