You'll feel like you're on vacation right away! We try to work with as many authentic goodies from local artisans as possible:
The hot bakery around the corner: fresh and crusty bread, baguettes, pistolets, variety breakfast cakes as well as the Ypres Cat's Claw, fine meats from the farm butcher from Voormezele, yogurt and butter from the dairy farm just outside the city gates, local quality products such as Flandrien Cheese and 't Zandmanneke from the Beauvoord Walhoeve, fruit juices and fruit from on the heights near Zillebeke, jams, granola and muesli from a little further on the border and typical Anglo-Saxon touches such as 'bacon & eggs' enhance the international atmosphere.
Gluten - and lactose free products we provide with great pleasure. Some items are standard on breakfast (soy milk, gluten-free and vegan granola crackers). Other items we provide on request.
There are usually numerous foreign guests staying at the hotel so there is a cozy international atmosphere in the breakfast room.

We offer a delicious breakfast, with a hot part (eggs and bacon, served fresh from the kitchen). If you wish to have breakfast in a cozy setting overlooking the beautiful garden, Ariane hotel is the appropriate location. There are some local products on our breakfast, such as local cheeses.

In Ariane hotel we offer breakfast, for non-residential guests. Extra breakfasts are possible, according to the hotel's crowds.

For our basic-, luxury- / DONCKS-breakfast (= surprise brunch, changes according to season and offer) we work with local products (e.g. cheese,...) and bio-grown vegetables.
We always work with fresh products, so please book two days in advance...
There is certainly the possibility for an alternative breakfast in case of certain allergens , although I do not provide that as a standard. If desired, please let me know in advance so I can make the necessary arrangements...
We also have the great advantage of our cozy garden / terrace (an oasis of tranquility in the heart of Ypres) where you can enjoy your delicious breakfast when the weather is nice.

If you wish to enjoy a delicious fresh breakfast with a unique view, our Breakfast Café at the Vijverhuis will meet all your needs!
Unique location with beautiful view over the pond. Our jams are homemade, freshly squeezed orange juice, bread and breakfast cakes come from the hot bakery, coffee is freshly ground and there is a range of loose leaf teas.
Lactose-free milk and gluten-free bread and pistolets are available.
