The herald takes you through Ypres in the period 1100 - 1400. Ypres was very important economically: the city became rich, was flourishing and that had a lot to do with the cloth industry. On this walk you will learn about the cloth industry and how Ypres became a cat city. Highlights are the Cloth Hall, St. Martin's Church, the many beautiful stately guild houses in the center, as well as some typical alleys.
